gnokii-smsd-mysql software package provides SMSD plugin for MySQL storage backend, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnokii-smsd-mysql
gnokii-smsd-mysql is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnokii-smsd-mysql package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnokii-smsd-mysql *
You will get with gnokii-smsd-mysql package name, version, architecture and description in a table
